LISTEN / DISCOVERY

Understand where people lose time.

We started with interviews about everyday work: what people needed, where they got stuck, and the workarounds they relied on across disconnected systems.

THE PRIORITY

Clinical associates’ time is precious. Make routine information easy to scan and tasks easy to reach.

WHAT WE HEARD

Finding the right place took effort.

Search and navigation could make familiar resources hard to reach.

Design response Keep search and Favorites prominent.
WHAT WE HEARD

Everyday tasks crossed several tools.

People came with a task in mind and needed a clear way forward.

Design response Surface useful information and next steps.
WHAT WE HEARD

One view didn’t fit everyone.

Needs differed by role, routine, and work context.

Design response Tailor the view and let people personalize it.
SHAPE & REFINE / CONCEPTS TO PHASE 2

The right information. For the right person.

We turned interview findings into prioritized journeys and concepts, then refined them through feedback. I helped clarify personal tasks versus team approvals, feature discovery, and the next step between systems.

Surface the useful details.

Show balances, dates, and statuses before people open another tool.

Adapt to responsibility.

Keep personal tasks clear; add team management for people leaders.

Give people control.

Let associates hide irrelevant tiles and organize their Favorites.

THE SHARED FOUNDATION

Everyday information, at a glance.

Personal time information and task links round out the experience. People can hide what they don’t need and keep their view focused.

ASSOCIATE VIEW

My day. My tasks.

Personal information and quick routes to routine work, without team-management controls.

Associate homepage design · Pay, time off, schedule, expenses, and personal task links.
PEOPLE LEADER VIEW

My work. My team.

The same personal foundation, plus Team Time for timecard approvals, corrections, and items needing attention.

Phase 2 people leader design · Team Time adds visibility into team timecards and required action.

Role-based design examples. Tile availability reflects the role and connected systems; these screens represent design work across iterations.

GUIDE & LEARN / MY OGL OWNERSHIP

Make the experience easy to pick up.

I owned Oracle Guided Learning (OGL): welcoming people, showing them how to personalize the homepage, and guiding tasks that continued into Oracle or UKG.

Get oriented.

A welcome tour, with the choice to explore independently.

Welcome guide · Help at the first visit, without requiring a tour.

Make it yours.

Contextual guidance for Favorites, tile visibility, and other features.

Favorites walkthrough · Show the customization control where the action happens.

My throughline: listen closely, make priorities visible, and help people get from information to action.
