Finding the right place took effort.
Search and navigation could make familiar resources hard to reach.
An employee intranet that brings information and everyday tasks into one place.

We started with interviews about everyday work: what people needed, where they got stuck, and the workarounds they relied on across disconnected systems.
Clinical associates’ time is precious. Make routine information easy to scan and tasks easy to reach.
Search and navigation could make familiar resources hard to reach.
People came with a task in mind and needed a clear way forward.
Needs differed by role, routine, and work context.
We turned interview findings into prioritized journeys and concepts, then refined them through feedback. I helped clarify personal tasks versus team approvals, feature discovery, and the next step between systems.
Show balances, dates, and statuses before people open another tool.
Keep personal tasks clear; add team management for people leaders.
Let associates hide irrelevant tiles and organize their Favorites.
Personal time information and task links round out the experience. People can hide what they don’t need and keep their view focused.
Personal information and quick routes to routine work, without team-management controls.
The same personal foundation, plus Team Time for timecard approvals, corrections, and items needing attention.
Role-based design examples. Tile availability reflects the role and connected systems; these screens represent design work across iterations.
I owned Oracle Guided Learning (OGL): welcoming people, showing them how to personalize the homepage, and guiding tasks that continued into Oracle or UKG.
A welcome tour, with the choice to explore independently.
Contextual guidance for Favorites, tile visibility, and other features.
I also refined task instructions, cross-system handoffs, and guides as features changed, working through QA so the guidance stayed aligned with the product.
People valued consolidated access and Favorites. Their feedback also exposed gaps in search and customization. I used those findings to focus further refinements in the product and its guidance.
My throughline: listen closely, make priorities visible, and help people get from information to action.
